For Woodcliff Lake, NJ location, supporting Automotive OEM, we are seeking a Pricing, Reporting, and Strategy Specialist.
The Pricing, Reporting, and Strategy Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of Parts and Accessories pricing, planning and assists with the coordination of strategic topics all with the goal of achieving revenue and profit contribution targets. This positions also assists with the integration of all strategy projects into cohesive business plan and is responsible for monitoring the market trend effects on overall business.
Salary: 65:75k
Develop and manage pricing strategy and analysis based on market research, turnover and gross profit objectives.
Determine the distinct data needs of each business unit and tailor the output requirements to pertain their pertinent KPIs.
Manage all monthly pricing and pricing system updates.
Maintain a comprehensive business plan that incorporates all actions, projects and strategies into consolidated view of the business to ensure a consistent direction, with the upmost of efficiencies and contribution potentials.
Develop and implement dealer bonus program and maintain reporting.
Establish processes for the successful implementation of measures.
Participate in pricing segmentations, facilitating the adaptation of said price changes within the US market by analyzing the various local market conditions such as market prices, warranty rates, car park, and levels of competition.
Initiate local market segmentations using the same factors above.
Manage reporting and analysis of all project activities.
Ensure proper internal controls are implemented to comply with approval levels.
Ensure all projects implemented support the achievement of the overall BMW Group goals.
Monitor effects of market trends and recommend countermeasures.
Identify and evaluate potential business risks.
Propose new projects and establish implementation teams to capitalize on unrealized potentials.
Adjust quickly to changing market conditions and strategic targets.
Assist dealers with pricing inquires
Adapt to new business models and systems, adjust and align reporting, and analyzing tools to define strategic position.
Work closely with other business units and pricing teams across the company.
Provide senior management presentations.
:Bachelor Degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or Statistics
:Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Power User, Access)
:Previous SAP Experience preferred
:In depth knowledge of trend analysis
:Experience working with large data sets
:Experience with pricing terms and concepts required
:Ability to build and modify macros preferred
:Automotive background knowledge a plus
