We are seeking a part-time executive assistant that is interested in arts management and administrative support for the development of multi-media projects.

Damon Brandt Arts, Inc was formed in 1984 to advise private clients on collection philosophy with an added emphasis on integrating into that strategy ancient tribal cultures. Contemporary photography has also become a focus and area of expertise following a primary role in the development of a museum quality corporate collection with over 400 works of art.

Salt Mine Projects, founded in 1992, supervises the development of multi-media and curatorial projects that have become an extension of Damon Brandt’s activities as an art dealer and his eclectic collaborations with talent both within and outside of the art field. We collaborate with some of the leading galleries in the world on curatorial projects. This position offers exposure to the inner-workings of a private art consulting business.

Duties include but are not limited too:

- Provide administrative support such as maintaining office calendar, scheduling meetings, handling incoming calls/emails, and
- Handling personal miscellaneous tasks including but not limited too: healthcare, personal travel, etc.
- Familiarity with travel (Airbnb, booking transportation, etc.) is a plus
- maintaining office files and office supplies
- create presentation documents, familiarity with PDFs a must.
- research and sourcing information
- updating inventories and databases
- ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work accurately under deadlines
- ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Qualifications: Our ideal candidate is highly motivated individual with a can-do attitude who is eager to learn, computer/tech savvy, extremely detail-oriented and highly organized. Candidates should also have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- BA in Art History or related field
- prior experience in art administration a plus.
- Some experience with presentation preparation.
- Fluency with Macs, Pages, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google Suite (gmail, docs, drive, etc.) - Familiarity with Squarespace is a plus.
- Expertise in Social Media and understanding of online presence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization skills

Desired commitment is of 10-20 hours a week. Compensation to be determined by experience.
