Musée prides itself on giving our interns valuable hands-on experience and insight into the digital publication industry. As an intern with Musée you will be exposed to the photographic community’s most established figures, up and coming works, premiering films, and gallery openings. You will learn key skills regarding your field of interest as well as enhance traits that are vital to any professional environment: professional comportment, problem solving, and a heightened attention to detail.

All potential interns must possess:

The ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong written and verbal skills (fluent in English)
Professionalism and punctuality
Work experience or educational focus in one of the following: journalism, art history, photoraphy, media production, social media, and/or marketing
Familiarity with Musée Magazine. Please take the time to browse our past issues.
Interns are required to commit 2-3 days a week for three-months (12 Weeks). You must live in New York City or have the ability to commute to lower Manhattan. We do stress that all internships are unpaid, with school, masthead, and on page credit available as appropriate and upon the internship’s completion.

Internship positions include:

-Grant writing
-Social media
-Photo editor
-Graphic design
-Event photographer

Daily responsibilities could include:

-Assist with editorial magazine content
-Assist with editorial magazine production
-Assist with copy editing, drafting content, proofreading, and research
-Assist with social media marketing and communications
-Assist with pre and post production of editorial content
