Amas Musical Theatre, one of New York’s leading non-profit laboratories for new musical development, has an internship opportunity this fall in support of our Amas Lab and Workshop Series, and Emerging Artist programming. The position is Assistant to Amas Artistic Producer Donna Trinkoff, award-winning Off-Broadway producer and a leader in new musical development in support of diversity, inclusion and cultural equity.

The successful candidate will gain expertise in event planning and execution for musicals in various stages of development, and be introduced to career opportunities in not-for-profit arts management and theatrical production management. Supervised responsibilities will range across several departments and include budgeting, marketing, casting, rehearsals, performance management, data collection, evaluation & assessment, and compliance reporting.

This Producing Internship is a flexible, part-time commitment through mid-December. A transportation stipend will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
