Lead Program Management - IT Security & Data Center OperationsLocation: 2 Broadway, New York, NY Description: The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) Information technology (IT) department is seeking candidates to lead and oversee key programs initiated by the CIO within the IT Security & Data Center Operations domains. This role partners with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISCO), the Chief of Data Center Operations (DCO) and their leadership teams to evaluate and prioritize their respective area's initiatives. This role then partners with the Director of the Program Management Office (PMO) to properly plan, lead, and execute these initiatives. This role will utilize standard metrics and KPI's to drive appropriate actions within the IT Organization to ensure accuracy and effectiveness in forecasting, budget management, and execution/delivery across the program's scheduled budget.Potential candidates must possess strong program and project management skills and should have both IT security and data center operations background knowledge in the areas of cybersecurity technologies, identity, access management, and PCI compliance. Requirements: 1. Partner with the CIO, CISO and Chief of DCO to provide leadership, strategic direction and guidance on key initiatives within the IT Security and Data Center Operations domains including business case review for completeness in order to drive the most effective prioritization discussions.2. Lead and guide a team of Project Managers to manage the execution of the program in a timely and cost effective manner while managing and mitigating the overall risks.3. Identify program dependencies, issues, and risks and determine mitigation and action plans.4. Accountable for planning, prioritizing, forecasting, and budget management for the PMO IT Security and DCO program areas.5. Motivated and driven professional who is passionate about execution and timely delivery, providing realistic plans and performing upfront risk planning and mitigation strategies. 6. Ability to deliver results via influencing IT leadership (CIO, CISO, Chief DCO and Domain Owners) by articulating facts regarding program statuses, risks, issues, schedules and financials.7. Manage service integration and other technology vendor relationships.8. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to executive leadership and program/project managers as well as senior business stakeholders.9. Aptitude for translating complex subjects into clear, business-oriented communications.10. Certifications in project management and/or agile development preferred (eg, PMP Certificate from credible organization such as Project Management Institute or Certified SCRUM Master) preferred but not required.11.
