Job Description:

EEI is looking for experienced Mainframe Systems Programmer Analyst to provide delivery execution for key Mainframe and Process Improvement initiatives for a leading Wealth Management institution.

Job Duties: Analyze production system environment and requirements.

Analyze, develop and drive strategy for creating environment(s) replicating production Complex Instruction Set Computing (CICS), IBM DB2, Virtual Storage Access Method (VSAM), code, IBM MQ, & MQ queue domains taking into consideration Logical Partition (LPAR) strategy, test management and data synchronization.

Ensure the appropriate sizing and configuration of the replica environments is equal to emulate production for accurate performance testing.

Deconstruct production system requirement attributes and reconstruction them in non-production.

Work closely with Business Analysis team to document and define guidelines and procedures for maintaining "like environment replication and ongoing change management.

Required Skills and Experience: 10+ years Mainframe Systems Programming experience.

Development of the new Batch programs using COBOL, DB2, JCL, VSAM and CICS.

Expertise in the follow Mainframe disciplines: Mainframe Database Systems, DB2 Cobol and CICS Batch Processing Experienced in Mainframe troubleshooting practices and procedures.

Excellent written, verbal and communication skills.

Financial Services industry experience a must (Wealth Management preferred)
