We are seeking a PeopleSoft Tester:: HR Payroll Manual Tester Duration: 16 mosLocation: NYC Please see vendor comments for rate information. Financial Information Services Agency (FISA) has 3 vacancies for HR Payroll Manual Testers for the PeopleSoft HCM Application covering various business modules including e:Recruit, HR, Benefits Administration etc. The applications support various Citywide HR/Payroll applications and interface with Timekeeping (CityTime), Payroll Management System (PMS), and Retiree Payroll Management System (PPMS). Specific projects the consultants will work on are the implementation of Leave Accruals and the upgrade of e:Hire to Taleo. Under the direction of the Test Lead the Manual Tester will use his/her prior experience creating and writing test cases and scripts geared toward functional changes to create the necessary test cases to test the needed functionality. Perform system, functional, stress, regression, smoke, integration testing. Track system defects with defect tracking tool and provide supporting reports and documentation. This person will work in various teams, but will need to have the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines. Required Skills: Must have a minimum of five (5) yearsA? experience in working with multiple versions of PeopleSoft 9.2 across multiple HRMS modules as analyst/tester Knowledge of E:hire/HR/Ben Admin/Base Benefits/Payroll functionality and Admin processes critical Working experience and understanding of PeopleSoft HCM applications (v 9.2) and PeopleSoft Tools (ideally v 8.54). Knowledge of Configuration, Security, Self:Service, Messaging/Integration Broker important as well as a good understanding of batch processing. Excellent SQL knowledge is required to perform data mining and conversion analysis. Experience creating testing Scripts geared towards functional changes due to the Upgrade Possess a thorough understanding of testing methodologies Experience with ERP Technical Architecture, and blackbox testing Experience testing legacy systems and 3rd party vendor interfaces Excellent Knowledge of QTP/QC Knowledge of CA Workload Automation Knowledge of DB2 Preferred Skills: Knowledge of LRS Report Distribution Tool Strong analytical and problem solving skills (i.e. analysis, recreation and documenting the impact on the system overall) Working with an enterprise wide, large scale implementations Excellent Communications skills (Oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills are required Knowledge of XML publisher is a plus CAI is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
