The SAP Payroll Lead will provide support for the upcoming payroll transformation initiative. The ideal candidate must have the ability to successfully work with multiple team members including implementation vendors, HR business and IT within the HR Payroll subject areas. This includes the ability to identify test scenarios, analyze and drive problems to resolution, coordinating and advising on complex issues, completing all tasks within committed timeframes, and effectively communicating across teams and levels of management.The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Payroll to * Provide SAP Payroll functional expertise by acting as subject matter expert and lead team through the entire systems development lifecycle* Work end to end on the project life cycle including fit/gap, configuration, and testing including payroll parallel testing* Advise the implementation on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems* Work with the system integrators to get the SAP Payroll system configured including Quality Assurance and acceptance of the deliverables by the integrator The accomplished individual will possess * Bachelor*s degree and minimum of 7 years SAP HCM, Payroll experience* Ability to work as a team player in matrix organization with business and IT teams* Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills* Experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central module will be preferable* Experience with the full lifecycle of SAP Payroll implementations* Strong analytical capabilities* Ability to perform fit/gap analysis on business processes as well as IT systems * Ability to identify and communicate process improvement opportunities* Ability to design business processes from the ground up for efficiency and to align with SAP Payroll module* Good understanding of US Payroll, including but not limited to: W-2s, year-end processing, entire HCM/payroll cycle, processes and compliance reporting* Deep understanding of integrations with third party Time/Attendance and Benefits vendors* Good understanding of US specific topics such as Garnishments, Benefits, FLSA and compliance reporting* Upward reporting for project status with ability to analyze issues and risks* Effectively manage project scope, timelines and budgets* Demonstrate forward looking vision for payroll with understanding of market trends and technology developments* Develop and nurture in-house support team members in both business and IT7 years+ of SAP HCM, Payroll experience,US Payroll, including but not limited to: W-2s, year-end processing, entire HCM/payroll cycle, processes and compliance reporting
