Service Manager - Security TechnologyOur Client is a Tri-State leader providing Engineering, Installation and Service/Repair of high-end security systems and solutions for a premier portfolio of clientele. Currently looking to fill the position of Service Manager - Security Technology to lead technical and support staff, and provide leadership and guidance on the rapid repair of security technologies which encompasses both small and large-scale integrated security systems at client facilities. This position will report to the Vice President of our client Security's Technology Division. The applicant will need to manage multiple projects and other duties to support organizational initiatives; including but not limited to:1. Serve as company liaison to customers and attends project meetings with clients as needed to discuss service issues. 2. Lead assigned technical and administrative support staff to service our client's portfolio of clients who have service needs. 3. Oversees Service Coordinator and ensures service and response to high priority service calls in a 24/7 environment.4. Conducts capacity planning for assets and staff and creates a vision on the evolution of the service organization to be a best-in-class entity of our client.5. Stays current with technological developments related to security technologies in addition to; computer hardware, software, and networks, as well as management practices.6. Attends conferences and workshops to build proficiency in security and networking technologies.7. Provide technical support to internal and external customers. 8. Perform evaluations of assigned technical and administrative staff.9. Identify training needs and trends for staff.Job Type: Full-time - non contractQualifications:* Bachelor's or technical degree preferred.* Minimum of (5) years' experience in in the security technology industry.* Strong knowledge of security concepts and technology platforms; Video, Access Control, Intercom, Intrusion, Visitor Management, turnstiles and network devices. * Not Required but would be great if Successfully complete certification training; Genetec, AMAG, S2, Exacq, Salient.* Possess a valid driver's license* Strong fundamentals of networking technologies and Information Technology Principles.* Experience with large-scale integrated security systems and complex projects.* Demonstrate experience in the application of IT/security solutions/techniques in a commercial environment.* Possess a high level of self-motivation and the ability to work with a high level of initiative with limited supervision in high pressure situations.* Strong team player who can communicate, motivate and interact effectively with technical, commercial and clerical team-members.
