Job Description:

Reporting directly to the Global Head of Offer Lifecycle Management you will support the development of the strategy and standardization of our enterprise IT offerings in partnership with our AIG business stakeholders, strategic vendors, and our Technology Services service line product and service management teams.

The Manager, Offer Lifecycle Management - Communications and Engagement Lead also drives communications and engagement for Technology Services leaders and colleagues in partnership with IT Communications Team and IT People Engagement Teams. This position will play an important role in shaping the culture and our organization as we go through an exciting transformation.

You will be responsible for managing and coordinating cross-service line Offer Lifecycle activities for Infrastructure Services including Network Services, Workplace Services, Compute Hosting, Application Delivery Management, Chief Operations and Transformation, Technical Architecture and Information Security. Activities will include offer catalog management, pricing and charge-back, communications and user experience. You will partner with key clients to drive adoption and engagement for the overall product or service, using an integrated and multi-faceted communications and marketing approach. You’ll conceive, plan, execute, and measure targeted product and service campaigns.

You will also be responsible for designing, developing and distributing accurate, engaging and timely communications materials for technology initiatives using various media. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining the company's central technology webpage which serves as a one-stop resource center to navigate AIG’s technology products and services.

The ability to handle multiple projects at once, attention to detail, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into consumer-facing benefits is crucial. The position requires a team player who can work effectively across teams and stakeholder groups.

Position Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the Global Technology Services communications and engagement strategy and plan. Manage the delivery, cycle and flow of communications and engagement

  • Execute people engagement initiatives for Technology Services such as global town halls, leadership site-visits, leadership skip-level meetings, and local community engagements

  • Serve as Technology Services liaison to the IT People Engagement efforts, and partner with the team to execute on IT-wide initiatives

  • Partner closely with leaders to ensure plans, strategies, activities and messages are aligned, coordinated and on track

  • Develop executive presentations, including internal and external speaking engagements for Chief Technology Officer

  • Develop key promotional, departmental and strategy status messages in consultation with Senior Executives

  • Create innovative ways to communicate and connect with employees. Assist in conducting awareness raising campaigns, events, information dissemination workshops etc. for target groups and stakeholders

  • Draft and create organizational wide communications (e.g., Issue to Impact/Success Story publications, New Senior Leaders Highlights)

  • Serve as the Technology Services liaison to the IT Communications Network, and partner with the team to execute on communications initiatives

  • Own and manage the Technology Services intranet webpage, including content development and initiatives to increase site metrics

Desired Characteristics:

Communications & Events Planning Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing winning end-to-end internal communications and engagement strategies is required

  • Excellent communication skills are required (including writing, speaking, developing PowerPoint presentations)

  • Experience in on-the-ground planning, coordination, and execution of meetings and events

  • Enthusiasm for communicating messages and driving employee engagement and culture change through well thought-out initiatives

  • Ability to integrate a broad range of communications and engagement initiatives into a cohesive plan

  • Ability to consult senior-level executives on the design and implementation of engagement and communications strategies

  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, organizational change management, culture change, and organizational transformation and effectiveness is preferred

    Professional Characteristics

  • At least 3 years of professional work experience in designing and executing communication activities; high-level mastery of English language

  • Knowledge of and experience with communication and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform via written, oral and visual media

  • Experience in Product Management desired

  • Superior attention to detail, organizational skills, and an ability to deliver high-quality work under aggressive timelines - as an individual contributor, team member and project lead

  • Executive presence, with demonstrated relationship management skills and an ability to partner with and influence individuals and cross-functional teams

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office products, especially SharePoint and PowerPoint, is required

  • Strong project management experience is required (including the ability to manage and execute multiple projects and develop and manage detailed project plans)

  • Flexibility and ability to travel is required

  • Self-starter who is able to work well under limited supervision

  • Experience working in an IT organization is preferred

  • Must have excellent oral and written communication and listening skills including the ability to craft messaging for different audiences (i.e., translating highly technical language into terminology that a non-technical person will understand

  • Superior attention to detail, organizational skills, and an ability to deliver high-quality work under aggressive timelines - as an individual contributor, team member and project lead

  • Financial skills that enable identification and focus on key business and product metrics that support new product development and Lifecycle management
