The Center for Recovery and Wellness is a community
center serving individuals and families facing substance use disorders,
offering an holistic approach to addiction, from prevention, to formal
treatment, to recovery services, and wellness programming. The Center for Recovery and Wellness
is part of Educational Alliance, a

JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Associate Executive Director of Clinical Services and
supervising social work and other direct care staff, the Director of Outpatient Services will plan and
coordinate all Elements of Part 822 Treatment Services (OASAS licensed),
including supervision of centralized admission services for all potential
patients, residents and members of the community center throughout CRW
including adults with substance use and co-occurring disorders.
SCOPE OF
INFLUENCE
+ Direct supervision of social work and other direct care staff
+ Administrative and clinical operations of all Elements for part 822
outpatient facility and off site services
+ Administrative and outreach operations for centralized admissions
services
KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
+ Provide
leadership, supervision and training to professional and senior staff of a full
comprehensive and integrated 822 Outpatient facility
+ Develop new
clinical and comprehensive service approaches to treatment, including
participating in research as needed.
+ Ensure development
and implementation of treatment plans, oversee initial needs assessments,
respond to all emergency/crisis situations and supervise induction enrollment
and outreach.
+ Provide individual
counseling services and document sessions per facility policies and procedures
+ Overall management
of co-located off site 822 programs within community based partner settings
+ Facilitate
psycho-educational and process group sessions, maintain clinical records,
participate in case reviews and conferences
+ Coordinate with
management team members to ensure the delivery of Vocational, Case Management
and other program functions to ensure the coordinated and comprehensive
delivery of services to clients.
+ Ensure program
adherence to the contractual and regulatory requirements as well as the
agency s policies, procedures, and regulations. Monitor and audit program for
contract/regulatory compliance on a regular basis.
+ Monitor the
therapeutic environment and assure client compliance with all program rules and
regulations.
+ Manage program
budget, oversee purchasing and disbursement of all monies & petty cash.
+ Maintain program
manual and site directives; assume overall responsibilities for physical plant
(maintenance, repairs, etc.).
+ Develop
benchmarked outcomes and metrics, and preparation for value based care systems
+ Provide effective
input and planning for integration with managed care payment systems
Other
+ Attend regularly
scheduled staff and program, meetings; attend professional and community
meetings to effectively secure available services for clients.
+ Perform other
duties and responsibilities as assigned. Perform special projects and other
duties as assigned.
+ Design, and
implement outreach and other census building efforts to ensure budgetary
compliance.
+ Ensure billing
systems and functional and reflective of quality claims processing and
recoupment of revenue
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required
Knowledge
+ LCSW or CASAC with
at least five years of experience in supervision, program development,
regulatory/contractual oversight and site management in residential or
outpatient Addiction Services/Mental Health Services required
+ Ability to
function independently, attend to detail, work under pressure, and effectively
coordinate a comprehensive array of clinical, vocational/educational, and other
services to address the multiple needs of substance abusers in residential
treatment
+ Ability to
multitask and handle challenging situations in a professional and courteous
manner
+ Ability to
maintain confidentiality of information
+ Willingness to
work as part of a team
