Position Description:

AIG Global Asset Management Holdings Corp. has an opportunity for an Exceutive Assistant in New York.
The ideal candidate will perform administrative duties under minimal supervision for executive management. Responsibilities include screening calls, making international and domestic travel arrangements with associated expense reporting, extensive scheduling of meetings and appointments, preparing reports and meeting materials, creating and maintaining a filing system, supporting other key executives as well as team members as needed.

The position also calls for flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, project coordination experience, ability to prioritize tasks, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.

This individual will support the AIG Investments Chief Credit Officer (CCO) and Investments Head of Operational Risk, and the Head of IVFA , provide support to their respective teams, and have the following responsibilities:

• Screen, answer and prioritize emails and phone calls. Maintain and manage their calendars creating focused work opportunities while keeping the managers on schedule;
• Ensure the office is organized and reference materials are easily accessible. Be proactive in preparing and gathering data for meetings and conferences, including meeting materials. Schedule videoconferences across multiple locations.
• Coordinate and organize travel: make travel reservations, create itineraries and process all travel related expense reports, including any departmental invoices;
• Develop solid AIG organizational knowledge;
• Assist with HR responsibility including on-boarding of new employees and with paperwork associated with departing employees;
• Assist with the preparation and formatting of documents, spreadsheets and presentations.

Position Requirements:
* 5-10 years’ experience in an executive administrative capacity, supporting senior executives.
* Able to work independently, take initiative and anticipate needs, as well as be a team player.
* Attentive and disciplined, with strong organizational and problem solving skills.
* Ability to review data with close attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. High energy.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization including AIG senior management.
* Able to deal with ambiguity and reprioritize tasks in response to unexpected changes in priorities/requests.
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Must have the presence, discretion and communication skills to interface successfully with senior executives across the company.
* College classes and Bachelor’s degree preferred.
