We are recruiting for the Medical Scribe position for the following regions:Lower Manhattan The Scribe is responsible for: Capturing accurate and detailed documentation of the encounter into the EMR in a timely mannerProviding unparalleled customer service to our patients, adhering to established protocols and work processes, and successfully managing volume without ever compromising quality Duties and responsibilitiesThe primary duties and responsibilities of a Scribe are:Being able to manage a minimum of two patients per hour on average and be able to manage a minimum of three to four patients per hour during surge periods.Facilitating any necessary diagnostic tests (e.g., CT, MRI, ultrasounds, etc.) and referrals to medical specialists for follow:up care via AftercareAssisting the physician with basic patient care and medical procedures set:upsCommunicating with patients, pharmacies, and physicians over the phone under physician guidanceHelping maintain a clean, courteous, and professional working environmentProviding compassionate care to our patientsAssist with training and acclimation of new hire scribesA candidateA?s qualifications will include:Undergraduate degree a plusFriendly and professional with excellent bedside mannerFlexible with full:time work schedule including weekendsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skillsHigh attention to detailAdvanced computer skillsExperience in any service industry a plusMust exhibit passion for outstanding results and compassion for those we work with and serveFlexible and adaptable nature to work in a continuously evolving environmentTeam playerExcellent communication and bedside mannerPassion for helping others in an urgent care environment Physical requirementsThe job may require at times to lift light to moderate amounts of weight (e.g., boxes of medical/facility supplies) to assist team members.
