Were committed to excellence in everything we do, and were passionate about taking the extra step to always provide the highest quality of care.Duties and responsibilitiesA Patient Care Representative is responsible for:Greeting and welcoming patientsOrganizing and coordinating patient in:take and other appointmentsAccurately enters/updates patient information in systemAssisting patients with completion of paperwork when necessaryScanning, updating and filing medical recordsAnswering phone calls, questions, etc. in a prompt and polite mannerProcessing medical insurance information, verifying patient eligibility and addressing any patient questions about insurance (liaise with Billing department as appropriate)Handling cash and co:payments accurately and responsiblyProviding outstanding customer service to every patientInforming site manager or assistant site manager of waiting room wait times, patient inquiries, etc.A candidateA?s qualifications will include:Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsDetail:oriented and a team playerComputer Proficiency (including Microsoft Suite) and superior keyboarding skills (approximately 55 wpm)Happy, welcoming, and can:do attitude with patients and co:workersFlexible/adaptable nature to work in a continuously evolving environmentMust exhibit passion for outstanding results and compassion for those we work with and serveUp to one year of experience working in any high:volume/high:intensity service industry (e.g., hospitality, restaurant, hospital, medical office or retail environment)Recent college grad or currently pursuing a college degreeAbility to effectively interact with physicians, patients and other staff membersBilingual a plus Additional Information This job will require designated shifts during site hours, as well as some weekend and holiday availability (will depend on schedule necessary at facility) Physical requirementsAbility to sit and stand for periods of time.
