Field Sales Account Manager: Mid-Atlantic Territory

About the Job:

Honorcraft
is a leading designer and manufacturer of custom awards and recognition displays throughout the country. Honorcraft has been in business over 50 years, serving clients such as universities, hospitals, museums, military, government entities, associations, and corporations.
Our Sales team is looking for an energetic, independent go-getter to join our team! Field Sales Account Managers drive new sales for all Honorcraft products and services within an assigned geographic territory. This position will report directly to the Director of Sales.
We are looking for a Field Sales Account Manager for our Mid-Atlantic territory, which covers metro New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Washington DC, Virginia, and West Virginia. It is preferred that this position will reside in the greater NY City area.
This position will work out of their home office. Travel to clients is expected locally in the metro NY area. In addition, overnight travel throughout the territory will be required at times up to 25%.

Responsibilities:
Meet and exceed assigned revenue goals
Prospect, cultivate, and develop new customers
Expand sales with existing accounts
Develop understanding of Honorcraft’s industry, customers, products, and services
Develop and cultivate industry contacts and referral partners that lead to sales
Initiate sales process for all Honorcraft products and services by scheduling appointments, making presentations, preparing proposals, and closing sales
Travel to clients; lead client presentations either in person or through webinars or conference calls
Manage sales pipeline in Netsuite
Exhibit and present at industry conferences
Develop and utilize all prospecting methods available, including but not limited to:
Direct call, direct mail, direct email
Conferences, trade shows, industry association events
Lunch-and-learn events
Email blasts
Other methods that you or the Sales Team may identify
Coordinate with Honorcraft design, estimating, and production personnel throughout the quoting, sales order, and order fulfillment process

Qualifications:
Positive, can-do attitude
Self-starter & hunter mentality
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, and phone presence
Excellent time management & organizational skills
Excellent relationship building skills
Proactive, responsive, takes ownership for results
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; can learn and become proficient in Honorcraft’s order management system (ERP/CRM system), NetSuite
1-3 years of experience in Field Sales is preferred, but not required
Prior experience in related industries is preferred, but not required. Example industries include: donor relations, fund raising, interior design, signage, recognition, etc.
Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience

Compensation and Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary plus commissions
