Artspace, the leading online destination for contemporary art, is looking for a smart, motivated, and resourceful intern, starting immediately.

Interns will research contemporary artists and write artist biographies. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, professional, and above all familiar with and comfortable writing about contemporary art. Applicants with art history backgrounds and some level of writing experience are very much encouraged.

This position calls for at least two days a week in the Artspace office in Manhattan. Interns will learn about contemporary art history, the art e-commerce space, web publishing, and many other facets of the site's multifarious operations.

The internship is unpaid but includes a courtesy monthly unlimited Metrocard, and school credit if applicable.
