Employees will be responsible for:
1. Preparing filingpackages (Alt 2, FDNY, Sign-offs, etc.)
2. Coordinatingwith clients and making sure all paperwork is signed and returned in a timelymanner.
3. Keeping track ofwork and communicating with and updating clients accordingly
4. Expeditingpaperwork and plans at NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) and Fire Department(FDNY)
5. Following upwith Department of Buildings (DOB) and Fire Department (FDNY) on openapplications or filed paperwork
6. Administrativework in the office to review paperwork required for filing and approval ofplans
7. Preparing andfiling packages for scheduling inspections with the Fire Department (FDNY)
8. Communicatingwith clients and informing them of scheduled inspection dates
9. Following upwith FDNY and tracking all filings, inspection dates and final FDNY letters ofapproval
10. Provide supportand back up to coworkers
· Excellentcommunication and organizational skills
· Ability to workindependently and complete tasks with little supervision
· Able to meet thephysical demands of the job
· Flexibility andovertime is required
· Proficient inWord, Excel, Outlook and general computer skills
