Concord Hospitality is seeking a talented and dynamic Director of Sales & Marketing to open our new AC Hotel New York City Downtown at 151 Maiden Lane in the Financial District. This 33 story, 271 room AC by Marriott will offer street level retail, 6th floor outdoor terrace, lounge, fitness center and guest rooms starting on floor 3 up through floor 30. The building will feature an all glass faade with rippling folds of glass will animate the exterior to pay homage to the South Seaport Districts maritime history. This hotel is pre-described as innovative, sleek, and 100% European inspired.

The Ideal AC Director of Sales Candidate

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years experience as a hotel director of sales with proven record in account development, revenue strategy, hotel marketing, and have experience in selection and training of a sales team. As a member of our leadership team we are looking for someone cutting edge, innovative, stylish, and one that mirrors the brands own characteristics of authenticity and immersed in the neighborhood around them. The selected candidate should have skills in pre-opening marketing, social media, and extensive sales experience in New York City.

As an opening Director of Sales you must possess strong abilities in detail orientation, balance, team selection and orientation and be willing to assist the General Manager and operations team in all areas of opening the hotel successfully. You will be the liaison with our owners, Marriott and Concord in assuring a successful opening.

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ Years Hotel Director of Sales Experience
  • Boutique or Lifestyle Brand Experience Helpful
  • Marriott Experience Preferred
  • NYC Market Experience a Must
