Position Description:

This Senior Business Strategy Analyst Market Disruption supports the Personal Insurance business in the development and execution of growth strategies to maximize innovation and market disruption opportunities. This role collaborates with functional and business and functional teams to support strategic initiatives in Personal Insurance with a focus on market disruption and innovation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leads market disruption/innovation projects within the Strategy and Innovation group for PI.
  • Secures approval of deliverables from project sponsors and key stakeholders. Communicates status on projects, manages risk and escalates issues
  • Research new technologies and InsurTech space and assess relevant Personal Insurance strategic direction, identifies, investigates, and evaluates acquisitions, start-ups/partners, and other strategic business opportunities that are in line with the organization's long-range goals using standard procedures. This includes opportunity assessment, due diligence, evaluation of costs/synergies, and the development of formal recommendation management presentations
  • Partner with Communications on strategy activities for both internal communications to employees and external to the market as it relates to innovation and market disruption.
  • Supports the development of internal communications and presentations that translate market disruption and innovation strategy into well-articulated communications. Conveys internal communications to Personal Insurance teams for feedback and support where needed.


Position Requirements:

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a finance, business analyst or equivalent role
• Strong analytical capabilities and researching skills
• Excellent written, verbal and communication and presentation skills
• Strong collaboration and relationship building skills
• Ability to adjust well to situations and changing priorities within the business and the marketplace
• Project or Program Management experience in a complex business environment desired
• Related experience working in transformative strategic initiatives
• Bachelor’s degree required
• A working proficiency in systems such as (but not limited to) Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Share Point, etc.
