Our new Vice President will be reporting to the CEO. The ideal candidate will provide value by expanding our existing business opportunities and clientele. This person will need to be the front of the company and be dedicated to applying an effective sales strategy to grow our employer brand. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: Develop business development strategies for the agency based on knowledge of the corporate/brand landscape and the agencys capabilities
Identify business opportunities for the agency including but not limited to: corporate/brand services, property owner/rights holder services and ownable events or properties (via creation or acquisition)
Leverage network of relationships to find out about business opportunities in advance of the pitch window
Research marketing trends and agency movement to identify potential business opportunities
Prospect your relationships to identify business opportunities
Actively network to create new relationships which can lead to business opportunities
Manage the overall business development process, ensuring all leads are tracked and appropriate action is taken by the right individual at the agency
Collaborate with internal program development team on creative conception and strategic planning for internal clients and new business opportunities Lead and participate in internal and external brainstorming sessions to develop new ideas for Engine Shop and client projects and programs Build and maintain internal and external client relationships at all levels of the organization and navigate your way around a wide range of individuals WHAT IS REQUIRED: Minimum relevant work experience: 10-15 years
Strong understanding of all relevant business areas
Understands Agencys position and business processes thoroughly and contributes to their development and efficiency Must be able to travel to major events to network and scope existing or new business opportunities
Availability to attend meetings, events and networking programs at night, during weekends and around holidays, if applicable. COMPENSATION/BENEFITS Competitive compensation package including base salary and company bonus plan
