**Advertised Summary Job Description**
The Clinical Research Coordinator reports to the Director of Pancreaticobilliary Endoscopy, the Principal Investigator(s), and the Clinical Chief within the Division of Digestive and Liver Diseases. The coordinator will assist with initiation and implementation of endoscopic clinical research studied by the interventional gastroenterology team.
Responsibilities and prerequisites include: Clear and effective communication with potential study subjects, clinicians, other health care providers, ancillary staff, and research office staff. The coordinator will identify and screen potential subjects, coordinate all aspects of study visits, including scheduling visits and procedures. Will maintain detailed study files, monitor and report AE/SAE, complete paper and/or electronic case report forms and ensure completion of protocol requirements, data quality and integrity. Will process and ship laboratory specimens, stock supplies, prepare for monitoring visits, sponsor visits and audits. Will ensure compliance with research billing and process stipends for subjects. Will assist with submissions to IRB and other regulatory bodies. Will also assist with maintenance of regulatory binders. Studies require flexibility with schedules and may require on call availability and working after hours and weekends. Perform additional duties as needed.

Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, training and experience, plus two years of related experience.

Experience with building and maintaining research databases. Willingness to work evenings or to vary hours in order to coordinate study visits, juggling of multiple tasks/responsibilities, and good organizational skills.
