Job duties include:
Adjusting primary and excess severity claims, which have low to moderate monetary exposure to the company. This includes making coverage determinations, investigating the loss, conducting an independent assessment as to the company's exposure, participate in developing and implementing the most cost effective and timely disposition and litigation plan to ensure the claims closure via settlement or litigation.
Position requires travel to attend mediations and trials.
In addition, secondary to the claim duties, each analyst reviews/ investigates an additional 20 to 30 field referral assignments and make a determination whether to accept/ reject same within the Claims Intake function of the unit.
Position Requirements: 2-4 years Commercial/ Industry claims experience.
Excellent communication skills (verbal/ written) and negotiation skills.
Advanced experience and capabilities in litigation claims management, including ADR and mediation processes.
Attending and controlling cases at mediations/ settlement conferences, pre suit, post suit, pre trial and post trial.
2-4 years Commercial/ Industry claims experience.
