Responsible for supporting the sales team, having daily contact with customers and managing the day to day division responsibilities. Role involves support of both major and specialty store accounts.Key responsibilities:Daily support on all aspects of the Saks and Bloomingdale’s businessShowroom support for all Saks and Bloomingdale’s appointmentsPartner with AE’s in Market to ensure strong merchandise assortmentResponsible for monitoring monthly shipping plan and projections for departmentShip account base on-order to meet monthly shipping goalsAttend AE/ Retail Math Meetings to understand account profitability and managementAdvise account base of merchandise ready and any production issuesMonitor account base selling, track weekly selling, door selling, seasonal turn, and seasonal margin.Create Seasonal on order books for Bloomingdale’s to be distributed to all doorsSet up the showroom for marketEnter pre-orders into SAP system for current selling seasonEnsure all orders are booked complete; managing all sell outs and substitutionsFix all EDI related issues for assigned account baseRelease all orders for deliveryOrder management in SAP (update cancellations, changes, “cleaning” orders at end of each seasonGenerate BIS reportsTrack all incoming product shipments (by style) from Germany with support of the Merchandising TeamAssist in scheduling market appointments for all new businessConduct Product Knowledge meetings for Select Major doors and Specialty Stores (domestic travel)Weekly visits to NY stores, and Monthly store visits to tri-state area locations to merchandise store floor and fill in product.Order and Manage all online and advertising samples for the team, as well as track all samples sent out to accountsAssist in sending all Fashion Show invitations and tracking RSVP’s for Germany PR OfficeUpdate monthly inventory report for Team, on style and size level with sketchesResponsible for all Major Account Ecomm guidelinesResponsible for booking all Model and Hair/Make-up bookings including castings and invoicesSupport on all internal department planning reportsSupport all Women’s Events and Conclaves Communicate and collaborate with warehouse on all shipping issues for the Women’s TeamResponsible for creating and maintaining all department logs- Shipping, Cancellations, Discounts, etc.Support in training of new hires in department on SAP and BISRequired qualifications:BS College Degree (preferably in Business or Fashion Merchandising)3-5 years of proven wholesale experience in Women’s RTWKeen understanding of the department store business and how to analyze the business with “retail math” (ie., VMT reports, sell through, on-hands, inventory, and margin)Must have general knowledge of key independents in each territoryExcellent speaking / presentation skillsExcellent computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft ExcelSAP recommended HUGO BOSS offers its employees exceptional working conditions in an international environment.
