Summary:

This individual must possess a passion for the food and beverage industry, they must be innovative and have the ability to create new menu ideas, identify trends and be a true student of their craft. They must posses’ great communication and presentation skills. They must be knowledgeable and articulate about the food and culinary industry.



This person must provide creative culinary thinking through a diversified service level of experience. Working directly with client customers, developing new concepts and bench standards, creating menu & pastry solutions, leads cross-company projects, and develops culinary programs and training.

Responsibilities:

· Interacts with internal associates and external client customers to provide culinary insights and expertise.

· Drives new business and develops business with existing foodservice branded client products.

· Creates innovative culinary product concepts and platforms, building strong client relationships.

· Knowledge of client product lines and develops applications integrating those materials where practical.

· Works directly with client customers supporting developmental projects with test plans, cooking support, menu solutions and test evaluations.

· Organizes, schedules, and conducts on and off-site training.

· Coordinates PR events and special function needs.

· Participates in major trade shows, industry seminars, and training events.

· Demonstrates knowledge of current and emerging consumer and culinary trends.

· Maintains various administrative matters or materials such as budget development and expenditures, operational reports, food cost analysis or records, time sheets, and all required accounting materials.

· Fulfills client/customer satisfaction and good public relations through effective communication and feedback.

· Establishes and enforces foodservice industry nutrition, sanitation and quality standards at all times

· Performs other related duties as required by agency management.

Background/experience:


· Certificate from accredited culinary school, college or technical school.

· Minimum of 5 or more years of hands-on experience of kitchen/culinary supervisory experience.

· General understanding of the marketing field.

· Chain Restaurant experience a plus
