Summary

Responsible for setting up conference room refreshments and meals; delivering food to attorneys as requested; maintaining kitchen supplies and cleanliness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Maintain a supply of fresh coffee, fresh fruit, cookies, and other various food products in assigned pantries.

* Keep clean and tidy pantries, including equipment, cabinets, refrigerators and the like.

* Set up food and beverages for meetings as directed.

* Clean and organize conference rooms after meetings.

* Organize food deliveries and serve to attorneys as directed.

* Collect and clean used service ware throughout assigned floors.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

* Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.

* Excellent customer service skills in order to follow instructions effectively from attorneys and staff.

* Outstanding interpersonal skills in order to communicate by phone or in person and provide information with courtesy and tact.

* A friendly and helpful demeanor.

* Ability to transfer large amounts of food and beverage items on carts; clear away dishes; load dishwasher; unpack food products, including fruit and packages of cookies, and place in overhead cabinets up to a height of 7 feet.

* Ability to lift items that weigh approximately 15 lbs.

* Understanding that work may require a high level of effort and strain to perform several tasks and meet several deadlines at one time.

* Ability to work overtime is essential. Work often requires more than 35 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position.

* Ability to work as a team and assist where needed.

Education and Experience

* Approximately one year of experience in a professional food services environment.

Working Conditions

Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like.
