We are seeking an Account Coordinator for our Customer Service Department in our New York location with a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate will efficiently process and handle customer orders; provide support to sales personnel as well as accurate and timely service to clients; coordinate ordering and receiving process, expedite orders, maintain order status and punch-list follow-up to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction; will work as sales support and liaison between all operational departments and the sales organization. Required Experience, Skills, and Education:4 year degree, concentration in Business preferred1-3 years of work experience – industry experience extremely helpfulExcellent interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication to interact effectively with a wide range of people both within and outside of the companyExperience working in an office environment utilizing technology and software applications to prepare correspondence, reports and forms and a willingness to learn and use new computer programs/applicationsExceptional organizational, time management, customer service, follow-up and problem-solving skills and can handle a high volume of detailed work with the ability to multitaskExercise flexibility, initiative, good judgment and discretion in handling confidential materials and mattersDemonstrate commitment to providing the highest level of customer satisfaction and act as a resource for customersLearn and maintain knowledge on products that COP sellsAbility to adapt to changes in work environment, work assignments, and/or priorities.
