Family office seeks Collections Assistant to assist in maintaining records for private art collection. Reports to Collection Manager. Position pays $25/hr and requires 10-16 hours per week. Lunches provided.

Interested candidates MUST have a background in art history with working knowledge of Asian art.

Responsibilities include:
-Scan and upload all documentation related to collection objects.
-Track and record exhibition and collecting histories
-Maintain detailed calendar/location tracking for works out for conservation and works on loan
-Maintain well-organized hard copy files for all collection documents.
-Generate reports from collection database

Required qualifications:
-Bachelors Degree in Art History; Masters Degree in either Art History or Arts Administration preferred
-Background knowledge of Asian art
-Competency using Microsoft Excel
-Experience using collection management software desired but not necessary
-Quick learner that works well independently
