Director of Sales
Tyto Care


The Director of Sales will leverage their successful B2B sales experience, ideally in digital healthcare technology, and be responsible for selling Tyto’s disruptive new telehealth platform and for managing prospects, clients and partners within an assigned vertical and/or geographic territory. The position demands rolling up the shirt sleeves and doing hands-on work with a small team. Over the next year, Sales activity will be B2B and then B2B2C.

Specific responsibilities include:
Growing and managing the territory under your responsibility to meet the company’s business targets
Creating and leading new business opportunities, sales and partnership development within an assigned territory including, prospecting, new inquiries, evaluation, negotiation, closing, execution, and ongoing partnership management and client success
Working with management to initially define, prioritize and expand your territory to encompass new opportunities and markets as they emerge
Representing company at trade shows, conferences and other relevant industry events
Collaborating with marketing, product and strategy teams
Possessing a strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry and positioning

Job Requirements

Self-starter, able to work in changing environment
College degree
Telehealth experience and advanced healthcare platforms a plus
5+ years experience successfully selling complex enterprise platforms or technology-based healthcare platform, such as EMR, telehealth, or other complex medical or healthcare technologies
Experience selling to clinical, business and IT management within health systems, healthcare providers, health insurers, physician groups, self-insured employers, and / or government agencies
Been a top salesperson, business development or account manager in another successful company as well as established a track record of success in startup / emerging companies
Start-up / early stage experience, or at minimum can clearly demonstrate ability to work in an entrepreneurial, hands on and adaptive environment
Be willing to travel 10-25%+

Job location: Initially in New York City but will consider remote hires for regional sales
Director of Marketing - TytoCare also seeks someone to lead our marketing team in our New York office and help launch and grow an exciting new healthcare brand. Ideal candidates would have B2B, B2B2C and retail marketing experience.
