This role sits within the MTS Markets U.S. sales team. The candidate will be primarily responsible for promoting usage among sellside accounts of the BondsPro trading platform for corporate bonds, and for developing and broadening fixed income relationships between clients and MTS/LSEG overall. To succeed, the candidate must have strong personal and organizational skills, perseverance, an interest in people and in finance, and the ability to learn quickly.

The ideal candidate will have some experience in the corporate bond sales, trading, or brokerage spaces. The candidate will be expected to maintain and develop new relationships within the U.S. fixed income trading community, building on the success of MTS and making a contribution to revenue growth over the near term. The candidate will also be expected to build on the MTS franchise and deliver relevant products from MTS and the London Stock Exchange Group.

The candidate should have an excitement for electronic trading and for sales and client service. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, energetic, organized, persistent, and a confident, engaging communicator in both written and verbal forms.

Responsibilities:

* Work with the Head of Sales and other colleagues to deliver the US Fixed Income Sales strategy and drive short-term revenue

* Function as Team Leader on major sell side accounts

* Offer strong client service and build relationships to promote trading platform usage and growth

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with e-commerce/business managers at sell side clients to help maximize connectivity

* Work with sales colleagues and technology providers to enhance existing MTS trading platforms

* Identify and support revenue growth initiatives across new markets and products, and cross-sell broader LSEG fixed income solutions into assigned client base

Qualifications/Experience

* Self-motivated, proactive individual able to work independently to build and manage their own franchise

* Team player, willing to collaborate and work with others to manage clients, help launch new initiatives, and contribute constructive ideas and feedback on existing products

* Utilises all available resources and toolsets to investigate and resolve problems

* Has the sustained drive and energy to deliver support service to time and quality

* Takes on routine tasks as necessary

* Carries out work without prompting and close supervision

* MTS would provide sponsorship and training for FINRA Series 7 and 63 examinations as needed
