The Marketing Communications Coordinator is critical to the Marketing/Advertising Sales teams and is an excellent position for an individual seeking a career path in marketing. Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, this role will support all levels of communication to the company’s key stakeholders, including but not limited to: prospective clients, current customers, viewers and employees. The person in this role should be extremely well-organized, detail oriented, eager to identify and apply new tactics and have a “can-do” approach. He or she will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, enthusiastic, resourceful, and efficient. A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial in this role, as well as a commitment to superior service.Key Tasks:Lead GenerationResearch vertical specific prospects for Ad Sales US, utilizing various tools and systems to confirm current sales activity, company revenue and ad spend, and key decision makersExamine inbound website activity to identify potential prospects and key decision makers within their organizationDevelop weekly Pardot tracking reportsManage Pardot drip programs and provide real-time updatesResearch the latest list building tools and analyze current systems to ensure best tactics are used to provide quality contacts for the lead generation teamContent MarketingManage blog sites (Office Pulse & Captivate Blog) through the distinctive Captivate voiceIdentify internal thought leaders and transcribe relevant article topicsTweet top stories throughout the day, using appropriate hashtagsManage UGC campaigns as well as brainstorm new, sponsorable UGCReal-time monitoring, outreach and response on social media channelsCreate unique and engaging social content, while also being able to track and analyze resultsStrategically maintain all company social media accounts according to the best practices for each platformCreate seasonal/relevant survey questionsWork with Research Director to implement Questions of the DayWrite articles highlighting survey resultsPromote insights socially and on screenCreate infographicsHelp write/edit thought-leadership for managementMaintain our distinctive editorial voiceWrite press releasesManage client social campaignsHelp editorial team manage content on the network Core MaterialsSmartbombs: develop targeted messaging and creative; coordinate campaign specifics with Traffic and Planning teamsMaintain the ClearSlide library with the latest core materials for Ad Sales US and Canada including but not limited to: audience insights, case studies, audience profiles, virtual markets and quarterly featuresUpdate & maintain the Ad Sales US client database to ensure effective communication Requirements:Bachelor’s degree with at least 1-2 years of relevant support experience in marketing, advertising or an appropriate sales environmentExperience working in social media and an understanding of how to strategically activate each platformFamiliarity with content management systems and SEO trackingStrong verbal, writing, analytical and problem solving skillsDetail oriented; commitment to quality work product and well organizedAbility to work independently and multi-taskDemonstrated ability to take direction and meet deadlinesStrong Microsoft Office skills; HTML, Photoshop and video editing skills a plus Why You Should Work at CaptivateCaptivate offers a generous FTO (flexible time off) policy, matching 401k, commuter benefits & health insurance programs.
