Position Description:

AIG Property Casualty Company has an opportunity for a Project Manager/Business Analystin New York. This position is within the Global Reinsurance Operations (GRO) Team which is responsible for reinsurance end to end processing and related operational support. Performance objectives in this position are as follows:

*Lead and / or participate with cross functional teams in delivering projects and addressing production issues;
*Conduct operational assessments to understand business processes with the goal of identifying and developing business requirements for technical or operational changes;
*Design and develop solutions to automate and streamline reinsurance processes for both internal and external reinsurance programs;
*Coordinate with COEs, external vendors, offshore teams and other stakeholders (including HO Operation Leads, Finance, Underwriting, etc.) for successful delivery of projects and production initiatives;
*Manage project and process issues, risks, dependencies and change control processes;
*Develop business requirements for enhancements, projects and process improvement initiatives;
*Develop test strategies to support the business requirements as well as related test scripts to support UAT;
*Lead project / process stakeholder meetings;
*Communications; standardized communication mechanisms are supported and adhered to; for example, status reporting, issue and risk escalation paths, etc.;
*Design, develop, and publish training materials and provide training support to teams as needed;
*Develop user process and procedure documentation;
*Ensure internal Audit and Corporate PMO compliance guidelines for projects and process improvements are adhered to.

Position Requirements:

* 5 years of experience in business analysis of large, complex, and evolving processes is required;
* Previous experience with software development projects, system implementations and knowledge of data warehouses and related systems;
* Knowledge of the Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC);
* Experience within F
inancial Services / Insurance environments is preferred;

* Proven ability to work both independently and within a team environment;

* Strong analytical, technical, communication, writing, and presentation skills with expertise using PC for documentation, e.g., MS Project, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint;
* College degree in Finance, Business or Accounting;

* Ability to recognize issues requiring escalation;

* Excellent organizational and problem solving skills;

* Ability to navigate in a very complex and dynamic team environment;

* Ability to work in multi-function, multi-location cross border teams with flexibility and adaptability.
