Verizon is actively searching for a Digital Operations Manager focused on digital business health and release management to join our Fios Digital Operations team. This position is responsible for managing a centralized digital decision hub reaching across teams and business units to ensure the continuity of the digital business, overall operational efficiency, and optimization of related processes. The qualified candidate will be responsible for maintaining and driving the adoption of playbook tactics and will own release operations across the digital ecosystem.

  • Build and maintain a robust playbook to document strategy and execution tactics for all mission critical tasks, customer touchpoints and systems

  • Review information from multiple sources including: Digital health dashboards, demand tactics reporting, analytics dashboards and reports, marketing campaign performance reports, etc.

  • Take action (demand, experience, channel, etc.), without direction, to balance customer and business priorities as needed

  • Drive site stability through the development of robust processes around product and feature releases including: team coordination - internal and external, war room setup, escalation of issues and feedback to product, design and engineering

  • Coordinate the real time response to digital issues that arise, reaching out to various teams, both internal and external, to ensure that necessary - and immediate - actions are taken

  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly audit reports around digital health and performance

  • Display initiative and resourcefulness in achieving goals but also comfortable brainstorming and sharing ideas in a team environment

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience managing digital site operations.

  • Experience managing digital release management.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.

  • Flexibility and willingness to work in an environment that is operational 24x7.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak effectively to senior leadership and internal / external stakeholders.

  • Experience working in an agile / scrum development environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to digest large amounts of complex data from multiple sources simultaneously and quickly identify key metrics, drivers and impacts to customers.

  • Ability to perform well under deadlines and be detail-oriented.

  • Experience partnering across multiple business, engineering and product teams.
