What you will do As a Sales Representative you will have accountability over a territory and be responsible for driving the business in that territory. This role includes both building new business and maintaining existing business. The role also entails working with our customers to identify programs and merchandising opportunities to grab the attention of consumers and sell our products, ultimately being responsible for delivering the sales and profit goals for your accounts. Your characteristics An entrepreneurial thinker and relentless problem-solver; you have an analytical mind and can overcome challenges, on-the-fly, in a thoughtful and meaningful wayA passionate and purposeful salesperson; who loves the process of selling and wants to build a foundation for a career in sales, everything you do has a purposeAn advocate for wellness; you have passion for health, wellness and driving innovationA person who loves to win and hustles to ensure success; you thrive in a fast-paced environment, and you don't fade under pressure you actually think it is fun!A team player; you understand that sales is a team sport and, in order to build something special, we need to make each other betterDetail oriented; you're busy and over-booked, but you manage to do it all, with a smile on your face, and success in the endA person of high integrity; you want to get things done while also doing it the right way with a customer-first attitude The role in more detail Generate sales through personal contact with customers, repeat customers and sales leads, presenting products and explaining the process.Qualify new business prospects and build an active, high potential prospect list which will remain the property of the company at all times.Support all trade activities by ensuring signage/shelf tags/POS and merchandising tools are in place to achieve expected resultsAuditing retail pricing of products including competitive information and reporting back to Director of Sales for review.Solicit and forward Sales Agreements to the Director of Sales and Marketing for approval and acceptance.Maintain an extremely high level of service to existing customers; managing the customer relationship from contract execution through delivery to after sales service.Keep accurate reports with respect to sales and prospects.Achieve sales goals and the objectives of the business.Participate in PUR marketing activities, such as conferences, home and trade shows and open house events, as required.Participate in merchandising which includes but is not limited to: checking inventory, meeting with store managers, providing customer service, checking expiration dates, and making sure the proper products are in best shelf positioning and store location to increase sales.Ensure accuracy in all transactions, inventory, and procedures.Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge.Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements What you have done University degree or college diploma or an acceptable combination of education and experience.2 years of direct work experience in a sales and merchandising capacity.Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.Ability to make excellent sales to achieve performance in alignment with goals and objectives.Exceptional customer service skills, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.Motivated, passionate, entrepreneurial and respectful team player.Experience in sales preferred.Computer literate with proficiency using basic programs.Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.Knowledge of Major Retailer Process and Systems is an asset (Planogram)Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.Excellent listening skills.Strong written communication skills.Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures.Ability to occasionally travel and attend sales events or exhibits.Ability to work individually and as part of a team.High level of integrity and work ethic.Must possess a valid driver's license..
