A new manufacturer of a junior / women’s accessories line is looking for a Sales Support Specialist to join its growing team in the New York office.

The Sales Support Specialist’s responsibility will be to assist in the administration of sales to the Sales & Merchandising Director, in addition to the duties and responsibilities listed below. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who wants to grow in the fashion/apparel industry with a new, fresh & rapidly growing company.

Primary duties and responsibilities are as follows:

SALES

Sit in sales meetings and document conversations, decisions made, photograph chosen styles and distribute info to all concerned parties
Prepare CAD line sheets of buyers’ selections for select accounts
Manage new account set ups requirements including set-up forms, vendor agreements, insurance documents etc.
Compile & prepare weekly selling reports of all major retailers
Work with Production / Shipping team to ensure compliance with all retailer requirements - packaging materials, tickets, packing etc.
Complete retailer/specific requirements such as E-Commerce item info, data entry into vendor portal, item info sheets etc.
Fulfill sample requests from accounts, including additional TOP samples
Manage Line Sheet - including proofing and distribution
SHOWROOM

Assist sales team with preparing for meetings by gathering samples, prepping CAD sheets etc.
Maintain sample lines in showroom and ensure all samples are represented prior to sales meetings
Ensure showroom is spotless, ready for impromptu or last minute appointments and selling tools are always complete & available; i.e. line sheets, catalogs, look books etc.
Review sample / model lines for style selection and appearance


ORDER ADMINISTRATION

Complete bulk orders to Customer Ordering / Shipping Dept.
Prepare and maintain Summary Sheets for each account
Review Allocation for any discrepancies and follow up to alleviate problems
Communicate to Ordering Dept.: order changes, confirmation, bulk adjustments etc.
Communicate to Customers: bulk order, purchase order info & changes
Create, distribute and follow up on Work Orders when inventory needs special handling at warehouse
Maintain order files for each account with cover sheets, bulks and confirmations in an orderly manner
