Meetyl's corporate business development team is dedicated to serving our corporate issuer community. This community includes investor relation, corporate governance professionals, and executive management teams who interface with the institutional investment community. Our senior corporate sales team focuses on educating existing and potential corporate issuer clients about Meetyl's corporate solution offerings.

The position will cover existing and prospective clients headquartered in the U.S. East Coast markets. The Senior Corporate sales team works as part of our overall business development team to manage the education process, from identification of the prospects through to the onboarding of new users on to the Meetyl platform. The Senior Corporate sales manager will also be responsible for ongoing relationship management with existing client users. You will be working closely with other corporate and investment management sales managers in driving adoption, user community growth and engagement.

Ideally, we are looking for individuals familiar with investor relations, and/or corporate governance activities. Experience with various productivity software products for the financial community, a plus. This position is for an experienced candidate with prior B2B software sales background who is also comfortable with SaaS subscription based models. Individuals with experience at a proxy solicitor or proxy advisory firm are welcomed to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Use sales and marketing tools to contact potential customer leads in respective coverage region.
• Attend and manage leads including follow up on conferences, regional events, and other campaigns.
• Maintaining records and Reporting using Google Documents, MS Office, and SalesForce.com
• Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on product roadmap, industry changes, and competitive landscape.
• Manage all prospects, track progress through the sales cycle, and substantially contribute to pipeline growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree required
• 5 to 10 years of relevant software sales experience or related industry experience
• Established contacts with management teams of listed securities in the U.S. East Coast region
• Strong understanding of capital markets, and corporate solutions products for IR or Corporate Governance activities.
• Knowledge of SaaS pricing/packaging models and software/SaaS buying behaviors
