Individuals in this job family play a key role in developing and contributing to the Federal Reserve s policy positions on cybersecurity supervisory matters. Individuals in this role will:
* Collaborate with experts across Supervision and the System to produce analysis on various cybersecurity issues and to help develop the best possible policy responses
* Develop guidance and tools to evaluate the risk management capabilities of financial institutions supervised by the Federal Reserve to address systemic cybersecurity risks that may potentially impact the financial stability of the U.S. economy
* Build partnerships with key industry players to maintain visibility of the current cybersecurity risk landscape
* Interact with other foreign and domestic authorities on current and emerging supervisory policy issues
* Individuals in this job family have expertise in information security and risk management; especially as it relates to the financial services sector.
* Job Responsibilities; *
* Formulate and support supervisory policy positions on cybersecurity risks to the financial services sector.
* Design and support supervisory guidance and tools to evaluate the cyber risk management capabilities of supervised institutions.
* Contribute to cross-firm analyses that provide insights into the systemic, current and emerging cybersecurity risks and trends impacting supervised institutions and the financial services sector as a whole.
* Provide subject matter expertise in cybersecurity, to include maintaining and sharing knowledge of current and emerging cyber risk management practices and tools.
* Develop relationships with experts across Supervision and the System to adequately elicit the information required for analytical work and to influence the outcome of resulting decisions.
* Communicate policy views to supervisory leaders based on the conclusions and recommendations from analytical work.
* Job Requirements; *
* At a minimum, bachelor s degree in IT related field or public policy. Preferred certifications include Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
* 5 years of relevant experience in information security and risk management. Relevant experience in public policy preferred but not required.
* Strong knowledge of information security fundamentals and current cybersecurity threats, techniques, and landscape.
* Demonstrated ability in developing and executing risk assessments.
* Ability to understand and synthesize technical issues to technical and business representatives and translate these to business implications.
* Exceptional analytical, critical thinking and decision making skills.
* Team player with excellent consultative, communication, writing and project management skills.
* Ability to obtain and maintain US Security Clearance.
