TEXTILE DESIGN STUDIO SEEKS HANDS-ON TEXTILE DYER


Dyenamix Inc, a New York City based exclusive design studio, established in 1991 with high end luxury clientele, offering opportunities for our expanding team. The environment is intense but the work is very rewarding. Some training available for the right candidate. Your responsibilities will include dyeing of samples and small quantities, while retaining quality in a deadline driven environment.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of a variety of dyes and the capacity to color match using dye as a medium.
Working knowledge of creative techniques and processes.
Passion for the process, and value a sense of pride in well accomplished projects.
Willingness to work hard, very occasionally putting in additional hours, if necessary, to complete projects accurately, while adhering to the high standards of the studio.
Team player mentality. The dyeing staff work cooperatively and occasionally collaboratively.
Ability to perform effectively under pressure. You must be organized and responsible and respectful of the workflow.
Positive and enthusiastic attitude.

INTERVIEW:
Please be prepared to show examples of your work. We will be requiring each qualified applicant to perform a dye test during the interview. This entails being given a standard and small cut of cloth to match on site.
