/ JOB OVERVIEW
Momentum s VP Director of Production is responsible for the logistics, production, and leadership of our Live Events Group including high-end live experiences, sports and entertainment sponsorship activations, events, tours, roadshows, and retail experiences.
The role entails high visibility internally, with clients, partners, vendors, and the press.
The role is key to the success of our agency vision and will work in partnership with
other senior leaders to continue Momentum s leadership in the brand experience space. The right candidate will share this vision and will manage operations, quality control, fiscal responsibility, and champion the collaborative process.
/ HERE S WHAT YOU LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES)
+ Top Level Production Leader with frontline experience of securing and implementing integrated experiential marketing
+ Responsible for leading the conceptualization of experiential marketing properties and event and sponsorship activation ideas through multiple types of media. Ensure that event solutions are innovative and strategically relevant building brand equity and delivering results for the
+ Possesses significant category expertise in live event logistics and management, mobile marketing, stage, sound, lighting, security, talent, technology, and creative
+ Demonstrates working knowledge of Momentum s core disciplines and supports creative solutions in event categories. Understands agency capabilities, vision & mission, and utilizes agency resources/tools appropriately and
+ Builds thorough understanding of clients businesses and adapt roles and responsibilities as the business grows/changes.
+ Demonstrates a current working knowledge of alcohol sampling legal restrictions across multiple-states and
+ Oversees multiple producers and accounts across clients and/or location categories. Manages staff utilization locally and coordinates with national Production Management to assign staff to other offices/projects as
+ Ensure programs conceived by other disciplines are effective and manageable as event marketing
+ Manages multiple events within the account base, including all event activation, event staff management and post event recaps, etc. Solicits and provides all relevant job information to team members in a timely
+ Partners with Account & Creative team(s) within agency and the client in developing, pitching and managing client business. Partners with senior management across functions on forward-planning for future success of the large scale team including operational issues, staffing and profitability estimates for all jobs.
+ Establishes effective relationships across agency multi-disciplinary teams in and outside of the Agency (IAT).
+ Along with budget development and management, develops fully integrated event solution plans and fulfills all necessary production related processes i.e. status reports, budgets, database tracking, vendor management, recaps,
+ Manages contract and fee negotiations for all Production elements. Adheres to budgets and all necessary insurance and risk management
+ Sets event quality standards that exceed the needs of Momentum
+ Proactive in developing solutions related to operational and quality issues within the team and across other Momentum
+ Troubleshoots conflicts with all stakeholders. Superb crisis
+ Attends events regularly and continually makes recommendations that lead to the improvement of the overall promotional
+ Leads on staff planning, selection, performance management, employee relations, training and related HR matters for assigned team in accordance with agency policy and
+ Support agency culture through leadership integrity, transparent communication and presence across the office
+ Through actions and established standards, creates a team environment that facilitates: mutual respect and partnership across functions; strategic thinking; appropriate risk taking; open lines of communication between staff and managers, on-going performance feedback, professional development and adherence to agency policy. Facilitates agency and production specific training for team.
+ Complete and monitor event status reports and large scale team calendar and travel
+ Mentors and develops team members and helps them to
+ Facilitate status conference calls for event production management and oversee the LSET (Large Scale Event Team) calendar. Enhance overall knowledge base of broader Momentum team by monitoring event vendors, case studies and other appropriate
+ Develops and maintains a local knowledge bank of freelance production resources, production vendors, event locations and local event permitting requirements in primary location and assigned secondary
/ HERE S WHAT WE RE LOOKING FOR (QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS)
+ Agency, client or marketing services experience marketing and/or promoting of Fortune 500 brands in the experiential space is a MUST
+ 10+ years of progressive experience in producing events and an understanding of the entertainment landscape from live events, TV, and on-line
+ 10+ years agency
+ 10+ years supervisory experience of three or more direct
+ Must have experience and fluency in basic Alcohol Beverage law and understanding of state by state Compliance
+ Possess significant knowledge of Field Marketing/Operations/Budget Management/Staffing & Training. Knowledge of the mobile marketing
+ Working knowledge of DOT laws and state / federal
+ High level of professional conduct that instills respect and appreciation from clients, senior management, partners and
+ Ability to see the big picture, determine the right course of action, delegate to the right people and allocate the right
+ Experienced in budget development and management, including creating staffing plans.
+ Successful negotiator of production related
+ Can orchestrate multiple activities, uses resources effectively and
