The soaring, gilded barrel ceilings, marble columns, and massive bronze sanctuary doors at the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola will reverberate with the sounds of Haydn’s The Creation. The beloved oratorio concludes the 2016-2017 Season of Sacred Music in a Sacred Space (SMSS), with a jubilant telling of the creation of the universe as told in the Book of Genesis and John Milton's Paradise Lost, performed in English by the Choir & Orchestra of St. Ignatius Loyola under Music Director K. Scott Warren, with soloists Danya Katok (soprano), Metthew Anderon (tenor), and Jeremy Galyon (bass). Purchase tickets at or call 212-288-2520.
