The Commons is a new café with an old concept. Breakfast and lunch, made with the finest ingredients, served by friendly people and accompanied by world-class coffee beverages. This is not your run of the mill bacon, egg & cheese or doughnut-to-go breakfast. We’re talking about daily Frittata and Tortilla Espanol specials, fruit & yogurt, bagels with homemade spreads and delicious baked goods, pastries & sweets from Arlene’s Bakery. Unique sandwich specials served on Amy’s Breads, soups made from scratch and salads created with green market produce for lunch. Complimented by a menu of coffee beverages that rivals the best espresso joints in New York.

We pride ourselves on our extreme attention to detail. There is no compromise when it comes to service, the quality of our cuisine or our commitment to forgoing the trend of charging extortionist prices for what is essential, simple and delicious. We are lifelong friends pursuing a culinary adventure dreamed up in our old high school cafeteria (which was named The Commons). Our name is a tribute to that friendship, that dream and to our nostalgia for the types of places we frequented when we were .

Having opened Organicoa at Hudson River Park, we are excited and proud to be bringing all that we achieved there to the vibrant neighborhood of Chelsea. We look forward to serving you.
